Hi folks,
I have a serious problem making my PW working properly.
The beginning of the history starts with a mismatch between the hardware on my hands and the AMZ profile.
While the Device Info shows a
6th generation device, Serial No.
9017xxxxxxxxxx, Firmware Kindle
5-12.2.2, my Device profile reports a Paperwhite
10th generation, Serial No.
G000Pxxxxxxxxxx requiring a Firmware Kindle
5-18.1 
Of course It was useless asking help to the AMZ Customer Service.
So, I decided to proceed with watchthis jailbreak accoring with watchthis-release
PW2-5.12.2.2 and, after few attempts, it was apparently installed, including the
Update_hotfix_watchthis_custom.bin
At boot, the kindle was stuck on the
DEVICE CONFIGURE menu.
Needed several attempt of magic swiping in order to access to the
Sideload Content, as there is no other ways to handle the kindle memory.
After having installed
KUAL launcher and
KOReader, a system reboot went again into the
DEVICE CONFIGURE menu. No way to exit from that menu.
Unfortunately, by leaving kindle in that
status (waiting for magic swipe) or leaving a book opened with KOReader, the battery drains in a night, as there is no function to put the kindle in sleeping mode.
What I can do to fix this?
