Any way to run an Android app on my PW4? Other access to B&N cloud?

I am running 5.10.1.3 firmware on my PW4. I am happy with this firmware level and have no plans to update to a later version.

I am wondering if there is any possible way to run the Android version of the Barnes & Noble reader app on my PW4. At present there are some titles I want to read that are only available for Nook and my ancient rooted Android phone which had Nook on it has died.

I have looked for a way to get hold of the ePub files on my B&N account without success. The best available option at this point appears to be to install the Nook app in a rooted Android running on an Android emulator on my Linux laptop. This would allow me to get hold of the ePub files to convert with Calibre, but seems quite onerous.

Does anyone here have any better suggestions?

Another thought that had occurred to me was the possibility of a gvfs plugin to mount the Barnes & Noble cloud drive the way I can mount the Google cloud drive. I am unaware of such a plugin nor what would be involved in creating one, but it would certainly be a better alternative if it is possible.
