I have a Meebook M7 that works quite well for me as an ereader. Mostly used for reading Hoopla and Google books; Libby also works but I tend to read those on my Oasis. I leave it offline most of the time except when downloading a book or doing occasional updates. Lots of settings to get things the way that works for you. I don't really use other apps besides for reading.
