I really enjoy good writers who produce series. When there is just one good book, I feel sort of bad as I get nearer to the ending. With a series, I know I'm going to have several really good books to read. I was fortunate to be able to read Clavel's Asian Trilogy in the proper order, and it made for two weeks of non-stop reading, each book better than the one before it! Then I read 'Shogun' and couldn't wait to move to Japan! (He's not here any more...)
