Of course, because removing DRM from Kindle books is more difficult now than it used to be, and it's clear Amazon is trying to make it impossible.
I don't buy most of my books from Amazon these days, but some are not available elsewhere. So I buy those from Amazon while howling, crying and gnashing my teeth loudly and publicly. Because public complaining is fun, as you said.
