However I do get the borders on inactive tabs if I change User interface style to System default. But that forces calibre into Light Mode even though I have Windows set to Dark Mode. Windows + Qt in this space is as obscure to me as Heidegger is on existentialism.

I am not bothered by the lack of borders on inactive tabs.
