Yes, that's right.

Post a screenshot of your output; there must be some kind of bug with your system, because when you open the epub I attached, as I said in a previous post, you should see something like:

The original svg file (image1.svg) is a plain grayscale image (full filled with color="#777"). The final color, the brushed metal effect and 3D appearance are product of the applied filter.

Your attached image is the first time I've seen any red color.

I find it hard to believe I've a system problem because I've tried on my MacBook, Linux and W11 machines and I always get a greyscale image whether I select the .xhtml file or the image file. I'm using Sigil 2.6.0 with Qt 6.8.2 on all 3 machines.

That's why I wondered if there is a plugin needed to correctly view the SVG image.
