I'll try with the e-ink Kindle.
"Kindle for PC" definitely doesn't support new releases (haven't tried this book, but I tested it on others released in 2025).
With old versions, Kindle for PC says an upgrade is required for new releases, and once you upgrade, you get a KFX file with new encryption methods that are definitely not supported by current tools.
