That suggestion has a rather nasty risk. If your Kindle does not connect to Amazon for a sufficiently long time period (the reports of how long that period are have ranged from 2 weeks up), when you reconnect your Kindle to WiFi, Amazon can and will delete ebooks with the EBOK cdetype with ASINs that match Amazon books that are not present in your content library.
