For what it may be worth, that image with the View in browser link is pretty standard on the Kobo emails that I receive. The one I received for the Golden in Death freebie for instance which basically opens the email in a browser.

I've truncated the URL for the one that links to Golden in Death since the last part of the URL seems to be identifier information. Which leaves me interested in seeing how many, if anyone other than myself, gets the browser view of the email including the View in browser link when clicking on the link below.
