My Lenovo laptop has an internal battery with a pinhole to disconnect for those times you want to remove power completely from your laptop and an external battery in either 6 or 9 cell variants to allow using the laptop for longer without an AC power source. I picked the 9 cell variant since it lifts the back of the laptop a cm which give me a slant I prefer on the keyboard.
