There are some changes in firmware 4.1, which is currently being rolled out for the Go Color 7. Tap and hold on the KOReader icon, select “Optimize” > "Others" > «System Orientation Uniformity» on.

I currently use the 4.1 beta firmware and KOReader v 2025.04-177.
