I took back a T1. Some suffer from freezing if you try to lookup a word.
The PRS x50 (models just before) and the T2 are far better. The T2 was really nice and can take a 32G SD card under a door.
A Kobo Clara BW, or a PocketBook Era (has buttons), or any Secondhand Kobo later than Mini and Touch would be better. The original Kobo Aura HD H2O is much better than a Sony, though it has no buttons (takes SD card). A S/H Libra H2O or Libra 2 is also good.
The battery (cell) could be nearly worn-out on a T1 and it's buggier than some others, though some examples were fine.
