One Issue I always face, whenever new update comes for Calibre & I try to install the Portable update in the specific folder....my KASPERSKY Antivirus try to block this, I need keep Kaspersky in PAUSE mode & then do the update....why this happens
You do not need to pause Kaspersky. You need to DELETE Kaspersky. It's garbage. I use the AV that comes with Windows and it works very well with no problem with calibre.

As long as you use Kaspersky, you will always have problems with your computer.
