None of the <figure> tags seem to have anything wrong with them, float or otherwise. The only thing obviously wrong (read: unsupported) is shape-outside on the fourth image. Because of how little you've said about your problem it's not clear if that's what you were referring to.
If you expect people to look at your problem, you can't afford to be so vague. The GitHub issue referenced above sets a good example: the cover doesn't show.

The whole sample shows what KOReader can't do. It can't support the property float as in epub3 (under epub3, "float" allows an image to float "vertically" and of that way, the fragmentation -that is, blank spaces generated by pictures, tables, etc, is avoided) and it can't support flex-box. I would be very pleased if KOReader provided adequate support for just these features; not only would it be an excellent e-reader for epub2, but it would also put a firm foot in the epub3 camp.
