A dream of mine would be to buy a plot of land and have a very basic rustic house on it and have the majority of the land put down to growing food. Alas that won't be possible here in the UK, land is way too expensive, as an example I see you live in Harrisburg (I assume Pennsylvania, my US geography is not great ) Looking up a 1.48 acre plot of land around Harrisburg would appear to cost about $100,000 (thats £74,000 roughly) a 0.97 acre plot near me (so over 1/2 acre less) would cost $254,000!!! (£189,000)
