If you posted an URL to try I've missed it. There are other tools, my kid uses
https://fichub.net/ to download from fanfiction.net. I just did a search to find wuxiaworld and told fichub to download a random title. It started to do so. Since I wasn't actually interested I didn't complete it. But it seems worth trying.
