Sorry for the delay in responding.
On Linux, the path to unzip the zip is ~/.config/calibre/resources/images/
On Windows,
C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\calibre\resourc es\images\
Restart Calibre.
In Calibre, go to
Preferences → Appearance → Icon Theme and select the new theme.

The zip in post #13 is for users who want to use the pack.

I'll leave this information for other users since you solved it differently.
