And in general if you are making epubs that work everywhere, inc publishing on Amazon, avoid drop caps, special initial caps, SMALL CAPS, frames, tables, columns, backgrounds, footnotes etc. Most of that can work on many things, but all of it will break on some things. Don't set line-heights either.
