Marc - An egg on a pizza is a new one on me!! Is it beaten before spreading on the pizza so that it cooks under the cheese? My husband loves eggs on all kinds of things, hamburgers, Zelda's Croque Madame, etc. He would probably love it on a pizza!
Zelda - Here in the US we have something called a French Bread Pizza! You slice a loaf of French bread length-wise and kind of hollow it out, fill it with whatever kind of pizza toppings you like and toast it under the broiler to melt the cheese. My kids love it!
To all and sundry: if you ever get to Naples, Florida, there is a pizza joint there called Aurelios. They have a thinner crust pizza there that will have you singing the "Hallelujah Chorus!"

They started in the Chicago area and have branched out to FL where many Chicagoans go in their retirement (I would liken it to the ivory burial ground of the elephant, but since my parents live there now, I don't think they would appreciate the analogy!!
