It's some sort of fixed layout epub with regular Adobe epub DRM. I got it working eventually on Calibre viewer. Also eventually on the Nxtpaper 14 in Pocketbook. I can't see how to get it two pages in landscape, though that works with reflowable epub2 and PDFs.
You'd want a big decent screen. Parchment styled background pages.
