I can't remember if the buttons swapped. Anytime I went to Amazon to buy another, the previous model was gone and I have to find another.

The pens have all gone to various people with Kobo Sage ereaders. One was branded Adrawpen and another U-Dikefo, I forget the 3rd. I might be getting back as the owner lost the Sage!

They all worked just as well as the original Kobo pen. In general an AAAA cell can last longer in a pen than the charge in many rechargeable pens (use and esp. standby). A good Alkaline AAAA can have a storage life of over 10 years in a cool place. Some Alkaline 9V PP3 packs use 6 cells similar enough to AAAA, except the nub is negative connection.
