i agree and this really drives me crazy. once a lawyer explained to me that even for a very simple procedure which only involved her putting a name on a standard document with no modifications and no appearance before a judge, she "had" to charge 10 000 F (more than 1500 €), because, you understand, she "had to prepare her retirement".
