Then you posted your question in the wrong forum.
If you include in your .css sheet the proper style to control page breaks and even so you still have unwanted page breaks, then the problem is not your epubs but the e-reader you are using. What is your epub ereader?

Well, if you are publishing on Amazon, using KDP or a 3rd party distribution you really have to use epub. They don't accept Amazon format uploads. Nor does Send To Kindle.
If it's for personal use the best thing is to not use a Kindle and either an app or ereader that works for the epubs that seem sane to make.
I abandoned KDP in Feb 2025. I've stopped testing mobi, but do publish on Amazon via Draft2Digital. The only sensible uploads to them are epub for ebooks and print ready PDF for paper. I abandoned KDP for paper longer ago as their checking and margin algorithms are crazy.
