Yup, I've been explaining that to people - it'll say the password or username is wrong, but it's not. It sent a 6 digit code to your phone, and depending on the message, you either add it to the end of your password or replace your password with the code.

I had one person locally who made a new Amazon account on her phone and registered it, and it didn't do the code thing, because she hadn't entered a phone number in her account. Email and password worked.
