I have cooling towels, you wet them and have them cool by waving them about for a couple of second, "snap" them like a whip (quicker) or hold them in front of a fan. It stays cool for a while and it's really nice in your neck without getting too cold. If it warms up you wave or snap it to cool it down again. I used it when working in the store during hot days.
I also have a neck fan, which works, but starts to annoy me after a bit because of the rigid plastic (sensory thing for me).
