It's curious. They all seem more expensive than my phone (I use Musicolet – it "remembers" file position). I had a tiny player and a large Archos years ago and I can't find any sane replacement for a small player with a decent UI.

Also such a thing with no WiFi would be good for grandchildren not allowed WiFi. They have a cassette and CD/DVD player!

Oddly no modern equivalent for cassette audio books (remember position when media in a different player). Cassettes are inferior to CD for music but far superior for audiobooks.
