It’s great news. I haven’t used Instapaper in years since switching over to Pocket, so I spent an hour last night archiving my old bookmarks and manually moving over my Pocket bookmarks. Pocket’s export feature only ever included one bookmark no matter how many times I tried exporting. Rather par for the course with my Mozilla Pocket experience.
I really won’t miss Mozilla’s Pocket. They ruined a good thing, including all my bookmarks when they forced me to upgrade to a Firefox account.
It’s fantastic that Kobo jumped on this so quickly. Pocket just closed down this month, and we’ll have its replacement only one month later. Well done, Kobo!
