I'm surprised you are surprised at the answers to your post, this is an ereader/ ebook forum where people who enjoy using ereaders and reading come together.
I would think that most people who read for fun want to be able to connect in some way with the authors they are reading, using AI will just erode the human element of books if it's used to write them - and I don't mean write the whole book but if it's used in any form in the creative process of writing it has to diminish the human element of the book. Why would we want to see the creative industries which includes writing be watered down by using a machine to do the work? I for one want to celebrate and enjoy work by other humans not a machine - but then my hatred of AI is well known so ...
