Paperwhite or ? for binocular vision dysfunction

Currently have 2018 Paperwhite and use Libby.

I ordered a new Paperwhite Special Edition, but second guessing if there's something better for me.

I have binocular vision dysfunction and use a larger font (usually a 9 on PW) and spacing between lines.

I primarily use Libby. I have access to CloudLibrary andBookShare, which I'm not able to use on my Paperwhite. Currently I access them w an iPad but would be great if I could use them on an e-reader (not sure if that's possible w BookShare).

Biggest priorities:
Clarity of screen
Waterproof (like to read in the pool)
faster response of screen to turn pages

Ability to access CloudLibrary?? is it worth switching to away from Kindle? Is there a way to access BookShare on an e-reader?
