Also having the same problem on my K4 trying to run KUAL... i manage to get it to work through the following process:

- flash new firmware through Kubrick
- update k4 to 4.1.4
- install jailbreak
- install mkk (Update_mkk-20141129-k4-ALL_install.bin
- install mkk (Update_mkk-20250419-k4-ALL_keystore-install.bin
- add KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 to documents (KUAL v2.7.37, i think it's the latest)

after these step KUAL is working fine. As soon as I connect to wifi i get "This device is not authorised..." even after trying to rename `/etc/uks` to e.g. `/etc/uks.disabled` as it is stated on the wiki to prevent updates. also placing a folder in the root directory (forget the exact naming of the folder) didn't help.

After reading a little in this thread about the kindle's clock I think it might be that the Kindle updates the clock after getting internet connection, thus rendering the cert useless.
Also i read that disconnecting from wifi and restarting or reinstalling mkk should fix it again, which is NOT the case for me. The only fix that works reliably for me is to completely flash a new firmware and redo the whole process above. (probably again because the clock resets, idk I am a noob).

This is really frustrating, cause I would love to be able to use KUAL for my project, which requires the Kindle to be connected to wifi for image polling.

If anyone knows what I need to do in order to finally fix this, PLEASE help, cause I am going crazy. (already flashed it 8 times now, thanks Kurbrick tho).
