I haven't paid that much attention but from what I've seen, Push to Kindle generates an epub which is then converted to an Amazon format by using the email flavour of Amazon's Send to Kindle. For DropBox, the email is sent to your DropBox account's email address.
However unlike a Kobo or Pocketbook ereader, where installing KOReader is pretty trivial, a Kindle ereader will require being jailbroken before KOReader can be installed.

Thanks!
Push to Kindle has a feature where it can download an Epub instead of sending it to the Kindle.
The nice thing about it is that it’s a bookmarklet and works in any browser and the web page can be edited before downloading or sending. I can change the title, exclude images or just paste an article manually.
Just have to look into KOReader. But seems I don’t have much to lose. The device now is basically a paperweight as it doesn’t do what I need it to do.
