Verifying that this is true concerning collections...

I have searched the web and these forums. I consider information in this forum to be the most accurate usually. Anyway, I have latest version of Calibre and KOReader.
In Calibre I have books with tags indicating the collection(s) they belong in.

When I send books to device (while not in KOReader but have tried within KOReader) and I go into KOReader the books are not in any collections and there are no collections listed in KOReader.

I saw a post here that says that getting Calibre tags (collections) into KOReader is not possible which seems to be the case.

Can any KOReader expert confirm that the only way to get your books into collections within KOReader is the create the collections within KOReader and then add each book one by one?

Thanks
