problems with my paperwhite
I have a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition -11th generation. I'm experiencing a couple of aggravating behaviors that are forcing me to restart my kindle appropriately every other day.
Problem 1) If I try to download a book that's already in my library using the download option on the ereader, the process queues but never completes. The book will stay grayed out until I restart the kindle. If it's a new purchase (I usually buy through the Amazon website, not the ereader), it automatically downloads fine. Also, if I go to Amazon's Manage Your Content web page and send it to my paperwhite from there, it has no problem other than a slight sync delay, which I'm assuming is caused by waiting for my wifi to connect with their servers.
Problem 2) I highlight quite a bit while I'm reading. If the kindle hasn't been restarted for a few days, the highlight feature stops functioning. The option won't appear when I press and hold to highlight the word or passage. The feature selection box doesn't appear at all. A restart reactivates it again.
Before I try troubleshooting by resetting or deregistering it, I'd like to see if anyone knows if these are known issues or if they're unique to my device.
