Kindle not being recognized by PC

My Kindle seems to have stopped being recognized by my PC. Just diagnosing if it's my Kindle (Paperwhite, 11th edition, Windows 10) or something bigger. My PC ports work with other devices. I have plans on getting a different reader soon, but finances are a bit tight right now. Ugh.

I haven't so far seen other people with problems, so I'm think it's just mine. But wanted to check around. Thanks!

Edit: Either a hardware failure or a kindle os issue?
