Thanks, but nothing doing.
After installing without trouble in another computer, I suspect that the trouble in this one comes not from it running win10, but from it being dual boot with ubuntu in another disk, which is chiefly ext4, and so out of windows reach, but containing also Sigil ??? Unfortunately, I donīt know how to safely unmount the linux disk under windows, to try a Sigil install that would skip it--enough trouble achieving the dual boot to risk unsetting without instructions !!
