<p class="Chapter-Opener"><span class="Drop-Cap CharOverride-5">T</span>he group formally started in February 1938 when the boys were 10 and 11 years old. The War in Europe began in 1939, when they were likely not so aware of what was happening. The December 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor happened when some of the boys were 15 and 16. Even though this
