It's not much of a deal; if you sign up for a year it's 149.50 so you are only saving about $15 over a full year, and after that you're paying more than the annual rate.

Perhaps Prime days will see a $99/year offer. I still wouldn't sign up because I still have dozens of audiobooks that I purchased that I've yet to listen to. In retirement I have no commute to listen to them with and I'm not so much into multitasking any more, and doing other things with my time.
I'm getting the same deal (with slight variations), over and over again, just like you and for the same reason: Cancellation of my subscription.

I'm about ready to block them.
