Thorium is meanwhile at version 3.1.0, and I use it on EndeavourOS (Arch-based). Great support for EPUB3 Audio Ebooks (using media overlays), TTS using SPD (speech dispatcher) and the Piper TTS voices also works (kinda; Piper doesn’t yet support SSML).
