Given the choices of the K1, K2, & 505, I would say the K1 is out of the running due to only 4 shades and poor dithering. The K2 has 16 shades. The 505 has 8 shades, but dithers well enough that you won't notice much difference between the 8 shades and the K2's 16 shades.
