It's wise to use 0.0.0.0 instead of 127.0.0.1 for a DNS blackhole. The former rejects all connections, while the latter only does so if there's nothing listening on port 80/443Z (presumably there is some mod out here that spins up a webserver). I couldn't download the KoboRoot.tgz file off your DropBox anyway, but I did create it on my own.
