A friend recently bought one off Amazon (I forget if DE, UK or IE as we use all three here) and it was cheaper than another listing which mentioned the cover and T-Pen, so he assumed no pen and cover. He ordered a cover and sent it back as it included the cover and pen. I think the original Nxtpaper 11 didn't always include a pen.

It's a standard type of computer pen, a TCL branding of a USI type, other kinds are Wacom (Scribe, reMarkable and Surface 1 &2), Apple, N-Trig/MS (used on Kobo).

The USI and N-trig seem better than Wacom now, which is the oldest system going back to 1990s and powered by host.

Some Android apps allow disabling touch when the pen is in use.
