Kobo Libra 2

Hi there,

My Kobo Libra 2 threw up a error while I was reading last night stating "your eReader is not authorized to open this book. and I was unable to open any of my books but the device appeared to be functioning fine other than this. I attempted to restart the device on the chance that this resolved the issue however when attempting to turn back on, the reader now just blinks a white light. The screen flashes if I attempt to hold the power button for 30 seconds or so but does not turn on.

When connecting the unit to my PC via USB it states, USB device is unrecognized.

After some research I suspected the firmware must have been corrupted. I have pulled apart the device and taken the SD card out and the card appears to be reading fine from my SD card reader, so I backed up the files on my desktop, attempted to format (which it would not let me using Windows or an SD formatting tool) and now here I am looking for the file to re-flash the SD card.

Could I please have a copy of the Libra 2 firmware and if you have any recommendations or tips in terms of re flashing the SD card i would be massively appreciative.

I was intending to use a tool like rufus or balena etcher. But I am very much following my nose here as have no experience with doing this before.

Many thanks!
