Hi, if you would like to give it a look, there are some devices that are considered niche, as the DAPs: some of them are from years ago and on ebay their price would had been lowered. Many has come to use Android as OS, including apps (the availability has to be checked, anyway).
Them full price is quite too high, but within that market share and devices that comes out every once and then, some would be more affordable. This devices has dedicated chips as for amps, converting signals from even high resolutions, as 24 bits and formats like FLAC or WAV.
There is a phone that came out within that specs too, the LG V60 ThinQ 5G (https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_v60_thinq_5g-10103.php), probably there are some few newest too that has DAP/DAC chips for the audio quality.

I'd bought a Pioneer XDP 30R (used), wich has the same specs of the Onkyo DP-S1, but those ones are without Android. Battery is great and the audio quality fantastic.
