This happens on my Libra 2 when the epub contains *.html files that are too large. If you use Calibre you can use its edit book function to check the epub. It will give a warning about large file sizes. For me, there is a lag when turning the page to the next chapter, and thus the next html file, which is too large. The solution is to split the html files or just wait a bit longer for the page to load. Waiting is easier for me. I've learned to first suspect a bad epub whenever something seems to be going wrong.

It's reasons like this that I validate my ePub. I also edit my ePub as well to fix the poor formatting.
