BTW. In 2024 and on Windows 11 the application still works. I just have to add the Kindle Scribe clippings manually as the app does not see MTP devices.

That's true. The newly released 2024 Kindle series with latest KindleOS changed to USB MTP from USB Mass Storage(UMS) on macOS, which results that you have to use official Amazon File Transfer(actually any MTP tools will do) to read and copy clippings files and vocab file is hidden on purpose . For Windows still usb drive is accessible but the file structure has been changed to one more deeper than earlier. Now for demanding requests I'm working on the new Kindle Mate to support both new models in 2024 and old ones, reading clippings and vocab via UMS and MTP with cross platform features as well.
