in social media of this day and age i really recommend getting into bluesky! it's an open source replacement for what used to be twitter, it's ad-free and is orders of magnitude friendlier to the user than honestly any other social media site. and what's most important in our case is it has a very lovely community of writers, as most indie writers who used to use twitter migrated there!
