Latest generation of Kindle models use MTP protocol to export Kindle's storage, not USB mass storage like the older Kindles. Nothing you can do to change that.

Guess you'll just have to manually fill the wanted amount of storage space with some "junk data". You can transfer something like movies, TV show episodes or music albums. Whatever type of data you have at hand on your computer will do the job of using the space on your Kindle.
