It seems this plugin no longer fetches cover images, possibly because Amazon changed something again. It used to work, but now it doesn’t, and the issue persists even with older versions of Calibre, like 7. No images load anymore.

The plugin appears to be dead unless a fix is found for retrieving cover images. Without it, you might have to manually fetch high-resolution images from the website for each ebook, assuming the covers are still available there. Otherwise, finding a solution might involve a website specifically for searching Kindle ebook covers, like a Google for ebooks, but that’s just speculation. This plugin was last updated in 2024-02, correct? Or was there a newer version than v0.5.1 for Kindle hi-res covers?
