Hello, I'm sorry if this has already been asked but this is a long thread and I couldn't read all the pages. Is there an update or a new plugin that will work to remove drm from the very latest amazon ebooks? I was able to get a newly published book onto Calibre via my old Kindle (it uploaded as AZW3 format) but the drm won't let it open in Calibre. It obviously won't download to my version of Kindle for PC either. Please tell me I don't have to read it on my phone or even worse, my prehistoric Kindle?!
Also, as a side note, if I do update my Kindle for PC to the latest version, will I still be able to use that method to de-drm books that were published before the May cut-off date using the old plugins on calibre? Or will they also become unconvertable essentially?
